As of Memorial Day Weekend, 2013, Amazon has been heavily promoting the ReadingRainbow application and it is #1 in both the Education and Reading categories of the Amazon Appstore. RRKidz, founded by LeVar Burton and Mark Wolfe, inherited Reading Rainbow from PBS when the station decided to retire the popular children’s show.
